College Station High School Percussion Program
CSHS Percussion

The College Station High School Percussion Program consists of two sections: the Drumline and the Front Ensemble. The Drumline is the heart and soul of the College Station High School Band & Guard Program. Our drumline can be heard at pep rallies, spirit walks, parades, and in Cougar Stadium. From various competitions and performances to early morning practices and after school sectionals, the CSHS Drumline and Front Ensemble members put in their share of hard work. Their phenomenal performances come from hours and hours of practice and intense commitment and dedication. Performance after performance, the sounds of the Drumline and Front Ensemble remain the heart of CSHS. One of our most important events of the year is the Drums Along the Brazos Drumline Contest. Since the inaugural event in 2013, the contest has included drumlines from across Central Texas. For more information about the Drums Along the Brazos Drumline Contest, please visit www.drumsalongthebrazos.com. Another big event is the Night of Percussion, usually held in February. We began this event in 2013 to bring together percussionists from schools in our district. Participating students come from College Station High School, College Station Middle School, Wellborn Middle School, Cypress Grove Intermediate, and Pecan Trail Intermediate. This annual concert is always fan favorite!
