Jessica Delgado, Color Guard Director

Jessica Delgado is in her second year as Director of the Cougar Color Guard. She teaches Spanish I and Spanish II Honors at College Station High School, as well. She currently serves as the departmental level leader for Spanish I and Spanish II.

Before teaching at CSHS, Mrs. Delgado taught at Rudder High School in Bryan for seven years, and at New Braunfels High School for three years. She holds a BA in English from Texas State University.

Mrs. Delgado was in color guard all four years of high school in Mission, Texas. She fell in love with the sport then, and is thrilled to be involved with color guard again. She believes the best part about her job as director is to see how the guard members begin to believe in themselves as their experience increases. She enjoys witnessing guard members trying things they never imagined they could do. She is excited about the future of our growing color guard program.

Mrs. Delgado is married to her high school sweetheart. They have twin boys. Ricky, a talented oboist in the Cougar Band, is a senior. Alex, a junior at CSHS and a star athlete with the Special Olympics, loves eating out and meeting new people.
