College Station Cougar Band Booster Scholarships

The College Station Cougar Band Boosters are excited to offer scholarships to graduating band and guard members. Any senior who is a member of the College Station High School Band or Color Guard is eligible to apply. CSCBB Scholarships will be awarded at the band banquet in May. Review the criteria below to determine if you qualify to apply.

Eligibility

• Must be in good standing at CSHS and the band/guard organization.
• Must have made positive contributions to the organization.
• Must be a graduating senior entering a college or university for the following school year.
• Must have been accepted to the college or university of their choice as a full time student.
• Must have been a band or guard student for at least four semesters and be currently enrolled at the time of application submission.
• Must have completely filled out the confidential CSCBB Scholarship Application and submitted to the CSHS Counseling Office by the deadline (spring of senior year).

Additional Info

• The amount of each scholarship is $1,000.
• Payment will be made directly to the student’s institution of higher learning.
• Consideration will be based on the student’s fine arts accomplishments, band and guard program activity and commitment.
• No consideration will be based on the college or university that the applicant will be attending.
• The recipients will be chosen by independent persons with the process facilitated by the CSCBB Scholarship Committee.
• Scholarships must be used within one year of award.
