About Our 2020 Exhibition Drumlines

The College Station High School Cougar Drumline joins us as a 2020 Exhibition Group for the 8th Annual Drums Along the Brazos. The band directors for the College Station High School Band are Jon Seale and Michael Dixon. Percussion staff members are Duncan Park and Philip Zeig.

The Cougar Drumline performs their show “Beatlemania,” featuring Tom Wallace’s arrangement of the Beatles’s songs “Magical Mystery Tour/Lady Madonna,” “Blackbird/Yesterday,” and “Eleanor Rigby.” The show also features an arrangement of “Hey Jude” by CSHS band seniors Anderson Kurk and Benjamin Roberts. All percussion music for the show was written and arranged by Philip Zeig.

The Cougar Drumline is under the student direction of Noah Taylor (snare section leader), Sam Moder (tenor section leader), Kathy Ding (bass section leader), Peter Lyday (front ensemble section leader), and Kai Nimocks (front ensemble section leader).

The drumline would like to thank their directors Mr. Seale and Mr. Dixon and their percussion staff members Mr. Park and Mr. Zeig for all their help. They would also like to thank CSHS Principal Tiffany Parkerson and her administrators, CSISD Fine Arts Director Eric Eaks, and CSISD Superintendant Mike Martindale for all their support. And they’d like to thank their Cougar Band Boosters and all the families who support them!
