Cougar Band & Guard

● Freshman Track Region Band Auditions – those involved with Freshman Region Band Auditions on Saturday will meet at CSHS early on Saturday morning. Call time is 6:30AM TENTATIVE. I’ll be getting more info soon from the contest host. We are heading to Shoemaker High School in Killeen this time.
● Region Orchestra Clinic and Concert – Congratulations to these Students. You will be meeting at CSHS and leaving for the Orchestra Clinic and Concert Saturday also.
● Beauty and the Beast Pit Orchestra – Rehearsals during 7th period on Tuesday and Thursday until 4:30PM.
● CSHS Wind Ensemble Students – We will be starting rehearsals at 8AM this week. This is just another reminder. Percussionists that have recently auditioned in please join us too.

Band Holiday Concert December 16th
The Jazz Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble will be presenting our first Concert Season Performances on Monday, December 16th starting at 6:30PM. Mr. Dixon and I are excited to announce that this year’s attire for the concert will be “Tacky Christmas Sweater” outfits. There might even be a prize for the “Tackiest Sweater.” Certainly have to stay within normal school dress codes. Alternative attire will be semi formal, no ragged jeans or athletic shoes.
