U.S. Bands Contest in Madisonville on Saturday, September 28
Breakfast tacos will be provided. Bring your own lunch and snack for the bus if needed. We will stop at Buccees after the contest around 3:15.
TIMELINE
8:45 a.m. Band hall opens. Change into show shirt, bibbers, and marching shoes with long black socks.
Load any necessary instruments back onto the truck.
9:30 a.m. Morning visual run-through on the practice field at CSHS
10:00 a.m. Eat breakfast tacos, use restroom, refill water jugs
10:30 a.m. Load buses
10:45 a.m. Leave CSHS
11:45 a.m. Arrive at Madisonville High School
1:05 p.m. Official warm-up time
1:45 p.m. Official performance time
2:00 p.m. Load instruments. Change into show shirt and band-approved shorts for awards ceremony if there is time. Otherwise, stay in uniform and head back to the stadium. (Drum majors in full uniform for ceremony)
2:45 p.m. Awards ceremony
3:15 p.m. Head to Buccees to eat (bring money)
5:00 – 5:30 p.m. Arrive at CSHS and unload
